Among these, <strong><strong>Manzoni&#8217;s study<\/strong><\/strong> has remained virtually intact, <strong>with a rich library of period volumes, the original desk<\/strong> and everyday objects that belonged to the writer. <\/p><p><strong>Upstairs<\/strong>, through a ten-section itinerary <strong>featuring original furnishings, artwork, portraits and manuscripts<\/strong>, visitors can retrace Alessandro Manzoni&#8217;s literary successes, beginning with the first printings of his novel, <em>I Promessi Sposi<\/em>. At the same time, <strong>they can immerse themselves in the joys, sorrows and friendships that marked his long life<\/strong>. Visitors can explore the <strong>master bedroom<\/strong> shared by the writer with his first wife, <strong>Enrichetta Blondel<\/strong>, with whom he had ten children, and with his second wife, <strong>Teresa Borri<\/strong>, as well as the room where Manzoni stayed during the last years of his life.  <\/p><p>A unique experience to soak up <strong>the atmosphere of the 19th century <\/strong>and the protagonists who brought this historic residence to life.<\/p><p>But <strong>Manzoni&#8217;s Milan <\/strong>doesn&#8217;t stop at his home: the city is dotted with places that evoke his world and his characters.
